What is your definition of a Wedding Vow?

“If you’re the one, then I’m here…I love you! I’ve adored every little detail about you since the day we met and I promise you, that I will continue to adore you, keep you happy, will never fail you, this marriage or anything we build together…My love, aside my belief in god, you are my religion.” – Renu (aka Jaanam)

What does wedding vows mean to you? Really!

Vows should be taken seriously; it’s a promise, a commitment a declaration that you will have to abide by for your lives together. Whether it’s religious, traditional values and/or romantic promises, it’s meant to be kept and should be made in the presence of your chosen witnesses.

When writing your vows, make sure it’s straight from your heart…it will add meaning to your marriage and set the tone for the future. Your vows for one another should be beautiful, romantic and get you in touch with your most inner feelings. It should be heartfelt! Remember, your written vows can be tied to your cultural and religious values… So, be confident when you recite them, this is your sweetheart and your vows will be the strength of your marriage. Love is patient, love is precious, love is peaceful, and LOVE is the most beautiful pulse in the world and your recited vows will be held in the most precious place of your forever love.

Remember, St. Valentine..where “Valentine’s Day” got its holiday namr from. It started with a love note and it’s now celebrated all over the world. He made it count for his love… When you recite your vows, make it count! Your love is powerful, it can triumph through anything and you want to express that to your sweetheart (jaanam) through your vows.
